It’s been quite a journey getting here. At times it seemed the vision for the Xstatic Wonderland Festival was never going to get over the line. As if organising big, sober dance events are not challenging enough - Covid really threw down the gauntlet.
We are so grateful to those that supported our crowdfunding campaign which enabled this much-needed event to get off the ground. And we are very thankful to the City of Sydney for providing a grant to enable it to happen.
As a not-for-profit social purpose business, our sights are set much higher than this event. I wanted to share our refreshed purpose, mission and vision for how we intend to play a role to improve mental health in Australia and eventually around the world!
But this event is ‘make’ or ‘break’ for us. To become a financially sustainable offering we have some big fundraising goals to hit. This event has the potential to be the springboard we need. But we need your help.

Our Purpose - To inspire a more healthy party culture & improve mental health
We aim to inspire a party culture of moderation, which minimises the negative consequences but maximises the fun! A party culture that is inclusive, safe and expressive, contributing to better mental health.
The core of the problem - as we see it
We recognise the so-called ‘drug and alcohol problem’ is deeply embedded in the culture of how we party in Australia where it’s normalised to overconsume. It’s a slippery close, leading to dependency and addiction compromising mental health.
Let’s face it, alcohol is available in every venue. How does someone break the habit?
We also see it’s a reflection of a bigger mental health problem and the past trauma people are dealing with where the overconsumption of alcohol and drugs is used as a means of seeking the connection they really need and coping in these situations.
Our society needs more connection, community and dance! Less judgement and more play!
How we make a difference
We wave the flag for healthy partying and aim to open minds to inspire moderation - one party at a time.
Our parties and festivals help remind people how much fun they can have without alcohol and drugs.
One truly Xstatic night partying enjoying a natural high without the hangover or comedown can help someone on the path to finding the balance that is right for them in how they choose to consume alcohol and drugs.
We create safe spaces without judgement where people can dress up and bring their inner child out to play! We celebrate inclusion, connection and self-expression.
We wave the flag for the value of dance parties and festivals as an essential part of society for people to be creative, connect and express themselves.
Our Mission & Vision of impact
We aim to create the extraordinary. Themed festival experiences which attract ALL people, of any age, religion or colour to join in the fun. Safe spaces, free of judgement where people can express themselves through dressing up.
To achieve our social purpose our goal is to expand and create quarterly themed festival experiences which are activated across cities in Australia. And also to bring our concept to universities and schools to inspire our youth.
We believe it’s our youth that will lead the way for a new more healthy way to party. It’s time for change.
As a registered not-for-profit, everything we make from events and sponsorship goes back into expanding the team and enabling our expansion. Our dream one day is to expand around the world to bring communities together in celebration of unity where music and dance brings us back together.

Xstatic Wonderland Festival - Why we need your help
We have consistently delivered high production next level events to achieve our mission but currently, but currently, our offering is not financially sustainable.
Not surprising in the early days, selling sober events has its challenges due to judgement and stigma. Not to mention the challenges of Covid.
We need to sell out events and also need the support of sponsors to fundraise to allow us to employ a small team to expand.
As a not-for-profit, we know it’s just a question of time before our events create their own fuel to grow the team and enable expansion. We just need to bridge the gap.
Xstatic Wonderland Festival - a fundraiser and a springboard for expansion.
This unique world record-breaking event is key for us to generate awareness and build our following and also to attract the interest of sponsors and the media.
We will never give up on our mission but we need all the help we can get, to get this rocket ship off the ground.
